Built in Kent, Washington by Ranger Boat Co. and designed by Raymond Richards,
Naval Architect & Marine Engineer.Traditional in design, the Ranger 26 can be easily
single-handed. The ballasted shoal draft keel with the cockpit controlled centerboard
enables you to sail through shallow waters or bring the boat up to your trailer at the
launching ramp. There were only about 70 vessels made during the late 1970s and
early 1980s. These boats were so well designed and built, that most are still
being used and sailed in most western states, including AK & HI.
