Appearance: Reality is a good sized bitch with an superb front and significant bone. She has been praised by judges as she has been growing up, especially for her front, and for her reach and drive. She has a full scissor bite, very harsh coat, dark eye pigment, very broad and deep chest, and a well angulated rear. She was given high praise by Mr. Jean DuMont, while giving her Best Puppy at the '96 Southern California BdF Specialty, he expected "great things" from her.
She is a daughter of Maddie (BOS '94 ABdFC National Specialty) and a granddaughter of Ch. Galbraith's IronEyes (Top Dog All-Breeds '90). Her father is HotShot (Specialty Select '94 ABdFC National Specialty) out of the well-respected Aristes "H" Litter.
Temperament: Reality takes after her mother, being a typical strong-willed Bouvier bitch. She's got a sweet personality, but she lets the "boys" know who's boss. Boys, this is one lady you don't want to get on your badside - she remembers everything (her second nickname is "gator", as in "Alie-gator"). Intelligent and driven, she has exhibited very strong working aptitude on sheep. Maddie and Alie vie for the pillows on the bed, or space on the couch.....
Conformation Career: Reality has been shown on a limited basis, and has chalked up some very significant wins. We are looking forward to her continuing to grow up, having her first litter, and returning to the Show Ring. These days, it's sometimes hard to recognize Reality from her mom (Maddie) when they are out running - they look so much alike.....
