Appearance: Oso is a signficant sized male, with a great head, good front and significant bone. He has a full scissor bite, very harsh coat, black mouth and dark eye pigment, broad and deep chest, and a well angulated rear. Oso is another of the recognized Riot/Reality litter to be finishing his AKC Championship.
He is a son of Maddie (BOS '94 ABdFC National Specialty) and a grandson of Ch. Galbraith's IronEyes (Top Dog All-Breeds '90). His father is HotShot (Specialty Select '94 ABdFC National Specialty) out of the well-respected Aristes "H" Litter.
Temperament: Oso is the Gentleman of the litter, growing up and being owned and raised by Fred and Leota Gonzalez, an experienced Bouvier couple in the Silicon Valley area of the San Francisco Bay. His playfullness and upbeat attitude is always admired when he comes up to our house for a visit (either for showing, training, or a "vacation"). If you ever want a thrill, just wait for Oso to come running at you wanting his "snuggles", hiding his head between your knees, wagging his tail at 100 miles per hour, as you scratch his hips and back......
Conformation Career: Oso has had a limited show career, coming to visit occasionally thorought the last two years. His first show at twelve months old he took a three point major out of the 12-18 Month Class. He was also the first in the litter to win a Best of Breed, doing it by beating a respected Special out of the Open Dog Class. Oso completed his Champion title by going Best of Winners at the competitive Portland '99 Rose City Classic Cluster.
