Appearance: Chanel is a good sized bitch with an excellent front and significant bone. She has been praised by judges as she has been growing up, especially for her front, and for head and coat. She has a full scissor bite, very harsh coat, dark eye pigment, broad and deep chest, and a well angulated rear. She was given high praise by Judge Judith Goodin in her first show (after being given BOB out of the 12-18 Month Class, over two Nationally Ranked Specials) as being a young female with extremely high promise.
She is a daughter of Balise (Ch. WizardGait Balise of Brimar, BOS '98 ABdFC National Specialty, and BOS '98 & '99 Westminster KC show), a granddaughter of Ch Aristes HotShot, and a great granddaughter of Ch. Galbraith's IronEyes (Top Dog All-Breeds '90). Chanel's sire is our Kosz (Am/Can Ch. Aristes Unser Gryphon's Kosz, TopTen '93-'95 and multiple Specialty Select).
Temperament: Chanel takes after her mother, being a typical strong-willed Bouvier bitch. She's got a playful and friendly personality to those she knows, and fits in well with whole of the Gryphon cadre. Intelligent and driven, she has exhibited strong interest in livestock.
Conformation Career: Chanel is been shown on a limited basis as she's growing up, and has chalked up some good wins. We are looking forward to her continuing to grow up, and showing her real potential in the Show Ring as an adult.
