This is the book which provided the basis for the widely anticipated HBO miniseries of the same name, produced by Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg, to air in September of this year. Lauded by readers around the world as one of the best unit histories ever written "Band of Brothers" recounts the history of E Company 506th PIR from its formation. A must have book! Mark Bando's third book on the 101st Airborne Division during World War II. This work lives up to the reputation for serious historical research established by his previous work. World War II Troop Type Parachutes Axis: Germany, Italy, Japan: An Illustrated Study

by Guy Richards. Paperback 114 pages with many illustrations.

It is about time that a popular book on this subject was published. This volume deals with Axis troop chutes I know but, This is still a subject of great interest to anyone who is serious about airborne history and equipment. The book is replete with technical drawings and photographs and covers their development, and use. Future volumes will include Allied troop parachutes including those of Russia, France, Poland, Britain, and the United States.

Our price $29.95
American Warriors: Pictorial History of the American Paratroopers Prior To Normandy
by Michel De Trez. Hardcover 212 Pages.
Written in both French and English text-the norm for De Trez' work-the real merit of this book is the comprehensive photographic treatment of American Airborne forces in England in the Days prior to the Normandy drop. It features many previously unpublished images which apear in no other scource. In addition Photographic studies of a large number of genuine artifacts related to specific individuals who participated in the operation are featured. Some might consider the discounted price of 69 dollars to be spendy but these same persons should bear in mind that this book and De Trez' other works have been regarded as indispensible rescources on the subject of U.S. Paratroops in Europe during the war and are jealously guarded by their owners. I know because I am one of them. I do not know if their will be a second publishing of this work and existing stocks may be the last. If you can afford it I highly recomend the expenditure. A good companion piece to this book is At The Point Of No Return see below.

OUR PRICE $69.00
At The Point Of No Return: Pictorial History of the American Paratroopers In the Invasion of Normandy

by Michel De Trez Hardcover. 200 Pages.

Another outstanding offering by De Trez, At the Point of No Return features a large number of origional photographs of airborne operations on the European Mainland during The Normandy invasion. Many of these are from private collections and are previously unpublished. A portion of these are color images as well. In additon There are plently of images of artifacts related to specific personel involved in the operation and many misconceptions regarding equipment used there are dispelled with hard documentation. As is the case with his other work, De Trez' At the Point of No Return" is well worth the discounted price of $55.20. An excellent companion piece to American Warriors see above.

Our Price $69.00 AVAILABILITY IS EXTREMELY LIMITED
First Airborne Task Force: Pictorial History of the Allied Paratroopers in the Invasion of Southern France

by Michel De Trez. Hardcover. 500 Pages.

De Trez Out did himself with this work on the Champaigne Campain The Invasion of Southern France. A very large amount of photodocumentation with period images of the operation-many published only in this book-along with first hand acounts by participants collected by the author, and images of equipment and documents related specifically to individuals who were there, make this a most impressive piece of historical research. I paid $100.00 for my copy and considered it to be a bargain at that price. You simply can not obtain this amount of information for that price. The discounted price of $76.00 dollars is a steal in my opinion. De Trez will be releasing two more titles in the near future and these same are eagerly anticipated by those who have seen his work in the past.

Our Price $66.50 Regualr Price $95.00 YOU SAVE $28.50!!!!!
