Anther view of the engine bay. note the routing of the ignition cables through the base of the "cross over tube". This tube routes air from the air clearer to the carberator horn (Visible to the right). The crossover tube is connected by a "breather tube to the oil filler tube (closed by means of the red cap). Visible to the right of the oil filler tube is the thermostat housing with its coolant inlet line. The oil filter housing is visible in the lower left corner. The "radiator standoff rod" is also visible running over the top of the cross over tube. This is to prevent the radiator collapsing into the engine fan. Note the dirt and rust visible on the engine head.
