To the right of the air cleaner is a line surrounded by a wire helix. This is the speedometer cable. Also visible are the ignition coil, ignition cables, oil filter housing (lower right corner), and a modern voltage regulator (lower left corner). Note also the piano hinge for the hood in the upper right corner. A bonding strap is visible there on the end most fastening point to the body cowl.
