From: John Edwards <john@joedwards.demon.co.uk> Subject: Plate XXXI

The one marked Plate XXXI by Moses Harris is from his book The Aurelian - there are various editions but I think that plate was first in the 1766 one.

They are British species -

top left and middle right - Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary butterfly (Clossiana selene)
top right, bottom left and large caterpillar and large chrysalis - Clifden Nonpareil moth (Catocala fraxini)
middle left, small caterpillar and small pupa - The Snout moth (Hypena proboscidalis)

Kind regards,
John Edwards
Liverpool, England

Thank you, John! :-)
